NOTE: As with any external USB adapter we have seen, you MUST allow proper ventilation for this adapter. You can’t stack paper up on or around it. It can’t be wrapped in blankets or operated in an environment with ambient temperatures exceeding 75 degrees Fahrenheit without adding active cooling. Make sure the output vent on your computer isn’t blowing hot air on this adapter, as computers routinely output air hotter than 90 degrees and can cause this adapter to overheat.
