Product Description
Ever wanted a simple, easy to use, low-cost way to integrate heart rate sensing into your Arduino or Raspberry Pi project? Look no further!
Features:
-Designed for Plug and Play
-Small size and embeddable into wearables
-Works with any MCU with an ADC
-Works with 3.3 Volts or 5 Volts
-Well-documented Arduino library
This open source sensor is based around an APDS-9008 ambient light sensor and a bright green LED, and detects pulses by the changes in light reflected from the blood pumping beneath your skin. The device outputs an analog pulse signal to your Arduino or Raspberry Pi, which is then interpreted and converted to heart rate with code from an open source library.
More information on setting up and using the sensor with Arduino can be found here: https://pulsesensor.com/pages/code-and-guide
Specifications:
Input Voltage: 3-5.5 V
