Supports: Mkey M.2 PCIe NVMe AHCI 2230, 2242, 2260 2280 mm SSD

This is a GREAT option for recovering data off your old NEME SSD that you took out of your old or damaged laptop. Looking for a USB version? It doesn't exist. It physically cant for many reasons. If you see anyone selling USB to NVME adapters, they are fake.

You need a desktop PC with an open PCI Express 8x or 16x slot.

 Note:
1. Not compatible with a 'B' key M.2 PCIe x2 SSD or 'B' key M.2 SATA SSD.
2. Need mainboard with a freedom PCI-e x4 or above slot (PCIe v3.0 will be faster in transfering).
3. Mac Pro 2009, 2010 and 2012 models support PCIe-AHCI SSD only, Win7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 are NOT compatible with NVME SSD.
4. If you wish to boot off using M.2 SSD, your motherboard needs to support it. Due to BIOS limitations, not all motherboards support booting off M.2 SSD so please consult your motherboard manual or vendor for more details on how to enable this function.
5. M.2 PCIe-NVMe mode SSD requires the use of Intel 9 series (Z97 H97 Z170 X99) or higher version chipset motherboard with Windows 8 or higher version operating system.
6. If add in PCI-e 2.0 slot, the transfer speed will be 16Gbps, please note that!
