This is a perfect kit for that. Once built, it has 22 Red LEDs that slowly throb. It creates a very cool effect. You can adjust the throb rate with the included potentiometer.

This is a very easy kit to assemble.

It runs on 5V DC. We used a USB cable (not included) to power the one we built.

You can also get a battery box to run it. Its also acceptable to run this on two CR2032 batteries (not included), especially using this battery box.
