Butt Connectors allow you to quickly and securely join two wires together. These connectors are often used to extend existing wiring in a car or boat. Another popular use of Butt Connectors is car stereo installation, where they join the OEM wiring to the aftermarket harness.
This butt connector is insulated with heatshrink tubing - After crimping your wires, apply heat to shrink the heatshrink tubing. This forms a tight, water resistant seal around the connection.
