Waterproof Rocker Switch for Reliable Inline Power Control

This compact waterproof rocker switch combines an IP65 electrical junction box with an integrated illuminated round KCD1 switch. The maintained SPST ON-OFF rocker switch provides straightforward circuit control, while its blue LED offers immediate visual indication of power or circuit status.

Designed for demanding indoor and outdoor installations, this waterproof electrical switch box is dust-tight and protected against water jets from any direction. Two PG9 waterproof cable glands provide dedicated line input and line output access while helping maintain a sealed installation.

IP65 Waterproof Switch Box Construction

The enclosure uses a high-impact PA66/ABS plastic base, a transparent polycarbonate light guide, and a rubber sealing gasket for dependable environmental protection. Internal silver alloy AgCdO contacts and H62 brass terminal pins support consistent electrical performance and long service life.

A mounting flange allows the surface mount switch box to be secured directly to equipment, panels, walls, or other suitable structures. Its compact form makes it practical for installations where a separate enclosure and switch would require excessive space.

Illuminated SPST ON-OFF Rocker Switch

The integrated blue LED rocker switch uses maintained SPST operation. Pressing the switch changes its state, and it remains in that position until manually switched again. The illuminated actuator makes operating status easy to identify in equipment rooms, outdoor installations, vehicles, workshops, and low-light environments.

The blue LED variant is specified for 110 to 120 V AC. The switch carries an electrical rating of 30 A at 250 V AC and 18 A at 125 V AC. For 12 V or 24 V DC accessory-control systems, verify load compatibility and use an appropriately rated relay or contactor when required. The integrated AC indicator will not provide illumination on low-voltage DC or AC circuits.

Waterproof Cable Glands and Field Wiring

Two PG9 waterproof cable glands create a convenient single line input and line output path. Three-pin screw terminals provide secure field wiring, while the switch uses snap-in mounting for efficient assembly into a 22 x 30 mm (0.87 x 1.18 in.) panel cutout. This configuration reduces the need to source a separate switch, enclosure, gasket, and cable-entry hardware.
