Anderson Powerpole® connectors are the standard power connector for many emergency communications agencies, Ham Radio, Etc.
This is the high-current 50A dual connector version that is often found on large 12VDC systems, UPS backups, etc. The hot-plugging rating of this connector is 50 amps - The contacts themselves are rated for 75A each, and the entire set is UL rated for 120Amps.
This is a complete set that includes the connector housing and two crimp/solder pins for 6AWG wire.
Powerpole® connectors are both polarized and genderless, so you never have to worry about male vs. female or positive vs. negative. Connections can be quickly made and remade in the dark without any hassles. The 50 Amp connector can handle demanding loads and mates securely.
