The DRV8825 Stepper Motor Driver Module is a drop-in replacement for the popular A4988 Stepper Motor Driver Module used on most 3D Printer Controller boards (RAMPS, ETC). This module offers a higher current than the A4988 module, and can drive motors with an operating voltage from 8.2~45VDC at up to 2.2A per phase. Proper heatsinks and forced-air flow should be used if running at currents above 1.4A.
The module has adjustable current limiting - This is controlled using the small on-board potentiometer. Built in over-temperature, shorted load and over-current protection make this module tolerant to mistakes. Fully featured with 6 micro-stepping resolutions, including an astoundingly small 1/32-step. The module is both 3.3-volt and 5-volt logic compatible.
