How to Use the USB-C PD Trigger Board
There are two versions of this board. One with 3 DIP switches and one with 4 DIP switches.
For the version with 3 switches; Set the DIP switches to easily select your desired output voltage:
- Switch 1 ON, all others OFF: 20V Output
- Switch 2 ON, all others OFF: 12V Output
- Switch 3 ON, all others OFF: 5V Output
- Switch 1 & 2 ON, 3 OFF: 15V Output
- All switches OFF: 9V Output
For the version with 4 switches; Set the DIP switches to easily select your desired output voltage:
- Switch 1 ON only = 9V
- Switch 2 ON only = 12V
- Switch 3 ON only = 15V
- Switch 4 ON only = 20V
- All switches OFF = 5V default USB-C output
WARNING: Never assume that you've set the switches correctly without checking the output with a mulitmeter prior to hooking a device up to the trigger board's output. By using this board, you are bypassing the built in safeties in the USB-C Design. You can potentially damage your device if you do not ensure the voltages are set correctly.
No software, programming, or special tools needed — just plug it in and select your voltage!
