This is Kexcelled THE K5 ABS M matte filament, made from Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS). It prints with a smooth, even texture and near invisible layer lines. Each 1kg (2.2 lb) spool is wound neatly so it feeds without tangles, and the 1.75mm (0.069 in) diameter is held to a tight tolerance of +/- 0.03mm (0.0012 in) so flow stays consistent from the first layer to the last.

ABS is known for being tough, and this matte ABS 3D printer filament stands up to impact and daily handling better than ordinary ABS. It also holds its shape in warm conditions. The heat deflection temperature is 101 C (214 F) and the Vicat softening point is 113 C (235 F), so finished parts stay stable in a hot car, near equipment, or out in the sun.

Easy Printing on Most FDM Printers

This 1.75mm ABS filament fits most FDM 3D printers. For best results, set the nozzle between 240 and 270 C (464 to 518 F) and the heated bed between 80 and 100 C (176 to 212 F). A print speed of 40 to 80 mm/s with a retraction distance of 0.5 to 5mm (0.02 to 0.20 in) gives clean, reliable results. An enclosure helps cut down on warping when you print larger models.

Fresh, Moisture Free Packaging

Every roll is dried, then vacuum sealed with a desiccant pack to keep out moisture and dust before it reaches you. That helps the filament print cleanly with fewer bubbles and pops. If a spool sits for a while, drying it at 70 C (158 F) for 6 to 8 hours brings it back to top condition. The recyclable spool and box round out an eco friendly package that carries GRS certified recycled content.
