ESP32-C6 Development Board
ESP32-C6 Development Boards for Connected Projects
Build smart home devices, wireless sensors, and other connected electronics with this affordable ESP32-C6 development board. Each ESP32-C6-DevKitC-1 board features an ESP32-C6-WROOM-1 module with a built-in ESP32-C6 chip and 16 MB of SPI flash.
With support for 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5 Low Energy, and IEEE 802.15.4, these boards are a flexible choice for IoT, Zigbee 3.0, Thread 1.3, and Matter development. Three boards are included, making it easy to create multiple wireless nodes or keep extras ready for future projects.
Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth, Zigbee, and Thread Development Board
Each board combines several popular wireless technologies in one compact platform. Wi-Fi 6 provides modern 2.4 GHz network connectivity, while Bluetooth 5 BLE supports low-power communication with phones, sensors, and nearby devices.
IEEE 802.15.4 support makes this ESP32-C6 board useful for developing Zigbee 3.0 and Thread 1.3 devices. It is well suited for experimenting with smart lighting, home automation, wireless controls, environmental sensors, and Matter-enabled IoT projects. An onboard PCB antenna keeps the design simple with no external antenna required.
Dual USB Type-C ESP32-C6 Board
The board includes two USB Type-C ports for convenient programming, debugging, communication, and power. The native USB interface supports USB 2.0 full-speed operation up to 12 Mbps. It can be used for firmware flashing, USB-protocol communication, JTAG debugging, and powering the board.
A second USB Type-C port connects through an onboard single-chip USB-to-UART bridge with speeds up to 3 Mbps. This gives beginners and experienced developers an easy way to upload code and communicate with the board.
Breadboard-Friendly IoT Prototyping
All available GPIO pins are broken out to headers on both sides of the board. The layout is breadboard friendly, making it easy to connect sensors, displays, switches, relays, and other electronic components without creating a custom circuit board.
An addressable RGB LED connected to GPIO8 provides colorful status indication and visual feedback. The board also includes a 3.3V power-on LED, dedicated Boot and Reset buttons, and a 5V-to-3.3V LDO regulator.
Flexible Power Options for ESP32-C6 Projects
Power the development board through either USB Type-C port for quick setup. It can also be powered through the 5V and GND pins or the 3V3 and GND pins, giving you more flexibility when installing it in a prototype or standalone project.
These boards are suitable for Arduino and MicroPython development, IoT experiments, smart home prototypes, Zigbee and Thread networks, Matter device development, and battery-powered wireless sensor designs.
