Important functional note

This switch contains two electrically isolated switchable poles, similar in appearance to a DPDT switch. However, it is not a true DPDT switch and should not be regarded as one.

• The two poles do not change state together in a synchronized 1:1 manner, as on a standard DPDT switch.

• One of the expected DPDT state combinations is not present.

Because of this, the switch cannot be used as a direct replacement for a DPDT switch. For example, it is not suitable for building a stereo A/B audio switch box or other applications that require both poles to switch together. Those applications would require additional circuitry such as relays or a microcontroller.

Only order or use this switch if you have verified that the exact contact combinations provided meet your application requirements.

Installation tips

• Drill a clean 19 mm cutout and secure the switch with the included mounting nut.
• Wire the LED ring to the 12 V supply; separately wire the selector terminals to your load or control circuit.
• If the circuit does not include a fuse, add an inline fuse appropriate for your load for safety.
