Thermal Management & Heatsinking

As with all high-power COB LEDs, proper thermal control is critical. Mount the LED to a flat aluminum surface or dedicated LED heatsink using thermal grease or a thermal pad. Good airflow and a solid mounting surface will prevent overheating and extend the lifespan of the LED.

These COB LEDs are new but manually harvested from unused Evluma street-lamp boards. They may show minor signs of removal such as solder residue, flux, or small marks from being separated from the larger PCBs, but all units were never installed or put into service.
