A very high quality 4 position hatswitch manufactured by OTTO.

Very commonly used in aircraft, heavy machinery and on joy sticks and flight yolks.

This switch connects its main terminal/lug to one of 4 lugs, depending on which way the switch is pressed. An example of how this switch can be used is as a joystick for up, down, left, and right for a 2D video game. A great addition to your Arduino project!

This switch is a single pole, center off, momentary contact (self return to center off), 4-way switch.

Manufacturer part number: T4-0236 (But with custom button T4-0264).

These were a custom run version of the T4 with a "custom button" or hat or cover on the top.

These units sell for over $100 dollars a piece elsewhere. This is your chance to get a VERY high quality switch for less than half the price.

The T4 Mini Trim is a single pole, 4 throw, center off, momentary
contact (self return to center off). Numerous button styles are
available on both the Commercial and Military grade switch
versions. Mini Trims are typically press fit into control grips or
panel mounted using versions with an 11/16” threaded case.
Mini Trims are also available with multiple sealing levels to fit
all applications.
