You can come in with nothing but a printable file and a project idea. We carry 3D printer filament in-store, so choosing a color, finish, or material is part of the process.

Bring Your STL or 3MF File to Vetco
Have a model ready to print? Bring us your STL or 3MF file and together we can have the slicer review the project, potentially estimate material usage, determine rough print time, and help select the best material for your application.
STL files contain the shape of the model. 3MF files can also include color assignments, support settings, plate layouts, material information, and multi-color print setup directly from Bambu Studio.
We'll do our best to help! Tell us what the part needs to do, how it will be used, and what you want it to look like. We can do our best to recommend a material, finish, and print approach. Ai is going to be very assistive with this.

One of the biggest advantages of printing through Vetco is convenience. You can bring in your file, look at filament options in person, and choose from materials and colors we already stock.

Custom 3D Printing FAQ
Do I need to bring my own filament?
No, at this point in time, we are not allowing self brought filament to be used in our printer. This is due to the fact that we can't verify its age or quality. Vetco carries 3D printer filament in-store, including PLA, Matte PLA, PETG, TPU, and a growing selection of colors. You can bring a printable file and choose compatible filament at the store.
Can Vetco print STL and 3MF files?
Yes. STL files are common for basic model geometry. 3MF files are often better for complex prints because they may include material assignments, color setup, supports, and Bambu Studio print profiles.
How long does a 3D print take?
Small prints may take less than an hour, while larger prototypes, multi-color prints, or detailed display models may take many hours or several days. Print time depends on size, material, infill, layer height, supports, and quality settings.
Can you print flexible TPU parts?
Yes, compatible TPU prints can be useful for grips, feet, bumpers, soft contact pads, flexible clips, joints, and strain reliefs.
Can Vetco design or modify my 3D model?
Vetco does not currently offer any 3D modeling or file alteration services. This service is best for customers who already have a printable file or a prepared model ready to go. We provide a workstation with basic software on it and Bambu Handy installed.
Important Service Notes
3D printed parts are excellent for prototypes, fixtures, displays, and many functional applications, but material strength, heat resistance, flexibility, and dimensional accuracy vary depending on design, orientation, and material choice.
Vetco Electronics reserves the right to decline prints that are illegal, inappropriate, or incompatible with our equipment. Vetco does not currently offer any 3D modeling or file alteration services. Customers are responsible for the files they provide and for determining whether a printed object is suitable for its intended use.
Objects printed on our equipment may be visible in-store while printing. Please do not submit overly private or sensitive designs. Photos or videos of non-sensitive prints may be used to help promote our 3D printing services unless other arrangements are made before printing. Anything printed on our printer is subject to images and or video being taken of it. And we reserve the rights to use said media for advertisement of our services and printer.
Additionally, Vetco accepts zero liability for any object printed on our printer, and also accepts zero liability for the printed objects use. All liability falls on the customer.
You must also accept Bambu Labs terms when using this printer.
Intentionally damaging our printer or designing a file that is intended to cause issues or damage our printer will result in the customer being billed for damages and possible ban from the store.
