WiFi Controller & Remote For WS2811 Addressable LEDs & Strings (With sound activation option)

Finally there is an EASY way to run addressable LED(s) and addressable LED strips without having to program a microcontroller. Even better, this control box is sound sensitive and can be told to do many different effects based on sound. It works VERY well!

This easy to use remote and control box lets you fire up any WS2811 based LED strip. Including WS2811B. That means that you can use this to directly drive a NeoPixel or other addressable LEDs like that. You can also use this on standard addressable LED strips and addressable LED light strings.

THE ONE THING WE NOTICED, is that the colors on the remote are not programed correctly and do not corrospond to the correct color sent to the strip. For instance if you hid RED, it changes the strip to GREEN. And if you hit GREEN, it changes the LEDs to RED. The BLUE button seems to be correct. This isn't something we can change or fix. Its also not really that big of a problem. Its just a programing error by the creator of these. Since this is an addressable strip, this is a programing error, and not a pin swap error. Maybe you can hack it? Or just do what we do, and ignore it.

This unit also can pair to a 2.4 GHz WiFi access point using their smart phone app. Then you can connect this to your other smart home controllers. This will work with 2.4GHz WiFi ONLY!

THREE WAYS TO CONTROL:

1 - Use the included infrared remote.

2 - Use the smartphone app.

3 - Pair and use your smart home controller.

This unit can handle anywhere from 5V DC to 24V DC input and output. But you MUST always use the same input (AC adapter) to match the LED string's voltage. It can not convert voltage for you. For instance, if you have a 5V LED string, you MUST use a 5V AC adapter on the input. Or if you have a 12V LED string, you must use a 12V AC adapter on the input to the controller box.

You can NOT use this kit to control a regular RGB or RGBW LED strip. You MUST use this with an addressable RGB LED strip ONLY. This will not work for RGBW Addressable strips.

Included in the package:

-Control box.

-IR remote.

-CR2032 battery for remote.

Whats NOT included that you may need or want?:

-AC Adapter (power supply)

-LED strip or other addressable LEDs

Extra notes and specs:

-DC5V - to - 24V

-5.5mm x 2.1mm power input jack

-Supports UCS1903, SM16703, WS2811, WS2812B, 6803, etc. and all single data smart IC chip LEDs.

-This controller can not support/drive SK6812RGBW 4 channel IC.

-This controller can control 900 pixels max. (you must supply separate power for running more than 300 pixels).

-Do not disconnect or connect LED string to controller while the power is on or plugged in. This can damage the LED controller or your LED string.

-Static discharge can damage addresable LEDs.
