Crystal Earphone - High Impedance - 3' Cord
This high-impedance crystal earphone/earpiece is perfect for all sorts of primitive radio projects. Based around a sensitive piezoelectric element, this monaural earphone is capable of producing sound from very weak audio signal sources, such as those produced from crystal radio sets and early transistor radios. The impedance of this earphone is approximately 20K Ohm. The earpiece is made to be inserted directly into the ear canal.
The attached wires are thin and relatively flexible, and are terminated with a 3.5mm mono plug on the end. This plug can be cut off so you have access to the bare wires for your project.
