Perfect for installing a USB charging jack in your car or boat. Made to be hard wired / permanently installed directly to 12VDC.

USB Panel Mount Jack can be easily mounted just about anywhere. 6" wire leads connect to your 12VDC power source. The USB cable is 12" long.

The DC-DC converter technology used is up to 96% efficient and has built-in short circuit, over/under voltage and current protection. Tested and draws zero power when no load is connected.

The brick (that contains the DC to DC converter) measures: 0.540 inches (13.73mm) long, 1.823 inches (46.32mm) wide, 1.063 inches (27.02mm) high.

The mounting screw holes for the brick are spaced about 2.226 inches (56.56mm) on center. No screws included.

We don't know the size of the treads that the mounting part of the socket uses. We have no good way to measure this.

The socket mounting holes are roughly 1.103 inches (28.03mm) apart on center.

The max body size for the socket measures: 0.459 inches (11.68mm) Long, 1.442 inches (36.65mm) wide, 1.205 inches (30.60mm) deep.
