This connector is a "3 Piece" design, meaning the center pin needs to be soldered on to the center conductor of the coax and then the connector is crimped on to the coax using the included ferrule for LMR-400. A small cap covers the soldered pin connection. The pin is fixed and cannot be removed from the connector.
Quality nickel plated with knurled grips. Gold plated brass or copper conductors.
