Screw Terminal Shield for Arduino
This set of two adapter strips plugs into the sockets on the Arduino UNO to provide rugged screw-terminal connections to all of the pins. Standard stacking headers allow you to sandwich this adapter between the UNO and a another shield. But please NOTE: you will have to bend the header pins or make an adapter to do this because the headers are off-set on the top part. Duplicate connections are provided for voltage and ground lines, making this a very convenient and ingenious board.

This shield hangs over the edge of your Arduino UNO like two wings, and provides a simple, flexible, and low-cost way of connection bare wires directly to your Arduino - No complex crimp pins and housings are required.

This shield is designed specifically for the Arduino UNO R3, but works fine with the Arduino UNO and Arduino UNO R2 versions, except there are 2 extra pins. These pins simply hang off the back and do not plug into anything on the R2 and Origional UNO boards. We recommend covering these two extra pins with electrical tape or heatshrink if you are not using them on an Arduino Uno R3 to prevent accidently shorting or damaging your UNO R2 or UNO board.
