Pure Nichrome (Nickel-Chromium) high resistance wire for making electrical igniters, heating coils, foam cutters, high power resistors, etc. Nichrome wire quickly heats up to red hot when electrical current is applied. We have 2 thicknesses to choose from, a medium 26 gauge, and a somewhat thinner 28 gauge. Great for heating elements, power resistors, igniters, etc. The thicker wire requires more current than thinner gauges to get hot, but is stronger and won't melt or beak as easy.
Both sizes have a wide variety of uses.
Sold in 10 foot long rolls.
