Digital Barometer Module for Arduino

This barometric pressure sensor module uses the Bosch BMP180 piezo-resistive absolute pressure sensor chip. It has an I2C data interface. An onboard 3.3 volt regulator powers the chip.

The measurement range is 30-110 kilopascal, which corresponds to elevations from 500 meters below sea level to 9000 meters above sea level. The accuracy is +/-20 pascal.

This sensor is also temperature-compensated, and measures temperature to an accuracy of +/-0.5°C. The temperature function makes this sensor useful for measuring absolute altitude and also for calculating pressure-at-sea-level for weather forecasting.

All of the power and data pins are brought out to an easy to wire 0.1" header strip (included, but not soldered on to the board). Our BLS series connectors make wiring this module easy.
