Run Stereo Audio over standard CAT-5 Cable. Perfect for changing an existing run of CAT-5 cable into an audio cable!
These adapters are wired to take advantage of a twisted pair for each (left and right) stereo signal, which reduces EMI/RFI interference for noise-free audio over long distances. This method typically works better than standard shielded audio cable.

These adapters have the following connectors:

• 3.5mm Male Stereo Plug (also called 1/8" or stereo mini)
• RJ-45 / CAT-5 Female Jack

The overall length of the cable between the plugs is 5".

The adapter is wired to use pins 1 and 3 for the stereo left channel, and pins 2 and 6 for the stereo right channel.
