These things are really cool. They look like old fashioned warm tungsten bulbs when lit and give off a wonderful soft glow.
These can be used to replace existing, outdated and energy inefficient incandescent bulbs. And even replace environmentally hazardous CCFLs.
Even better, these don't require any conversion to use and they are dimmable! They drop right into the original 120VAC bulb socket of the appropriate size.
Currently, its difficult to capture an image of these running, that does them justice. Later, we will add images of these functioning to show their true beauty.
